2020 Winter Meeting

Case Study Competition at the Annual Conference
Presented by the Contemporary Issues Committee

This year’s annual GLACUHO Case Study Competition will take place on October 21st from 1pm-3:15pm.

What is a case study and how can I participate?

There will be case studies for three different levels: Graduate Students, Entry-Level (1-3 years of experience), and Mid-Level (4-6 years of experience).  Teams of two will be given the case a week in advance and will present their findings to a panel of judges during the Competition.  Winners will be announced at the closing banquet and presented with a book and certificate.     

What is the topic and what is the schedule?

This year’s case study competition will focus on issues surrounding “Emergency Preparedness: Planning, Implementation, and Training ”. All participants will receive the case for preparation defense on Friday, October 18th. Each pair will have will present to a judging panel and answer questions from the same panel during their selected time on Monday, October 21, 2019.

How do I sign up?

Case study sign up is available below.

If you already have a partner, one person will sign up on behalf of the pair of you.

If you do not have a partner, please do not sign up yet-- the presentation time slots are for pairs only. If you need assistance finding a partner,  send an email contemporaryissues@glacuho.org for further assistance. We will work with you to pair you up with another individual in the same category.
