We are excited to announce GLACUHO Committee Member applications are live for next year’s committees! The work performed by our committee members is the backbone of GLACUHO, truly providing 365-day learning to our Association. We hope you consider joining us as a committee member for the upcoming year.

The deadline to apply is Friday, November 2, 2018 at midnight (CST). We encourage you to connect with outgoing or incoming committee chairs and board members by email, phone, or in person at the conference to learn more about the opportunities. In addition, visit our Committee Member Involvement page to learn about the committees, and learn the traditions and programs associated with each committee.

New Opportunities

In addition to our nine standing committees, we are excited to announce that we are recruiting for two new opportunities this year: the Conference Host Committee, and the Stewardship Committee.

Conference Host Committee

Starting in 2020, the annual conference planning and coordination will be performed by this committee, taking the place of host institutions under our old structure. Membership on this committee is open to all members across the region. As technology has offered new opportunities for collaboration and work, committee membership is not limited to certain geographic regions or states, and members do not need to be geographically located near the host city.

Stewardship Committee

This ad-hoc committee is appointed by the President with the goal of fostering stewardship in the region and support GLACUHO's fundraising endeavors. GLACUHO offers support via scholarships for GLACUHO affiliated members to attend ACUHO-I related events like Stars College, the James C. Grimm National Housing Training Institute, and the ACUHO-I Annual Conference and Exposition (ACE). We are excited to enhance these opportunities for GLACUHO members and this newly created committee will lead initiatives, fundraising, and stewardship for the association.

Full committee descriptions for these, as well as all of our committees, are located on our Committee Member Involvement page.
