When I began reading this book I was trying to think of how to verbalize my why. I had trouble because like most people my initial explanation was more of a description of "what" I am passionate about, not "why" I am passionate about it. I tried going deeper, but it wasn't until members of my department were having a discussion about the book I felt as though there was a click. I felt that I finally got to a point that made the most sense to me, that felt right, when I felt my why was in line with what other leadership or personality assessments told me. In short, I feel my why is the desire to make myself and those around into better versions of themselves. I don't know for sure if that is an actual why or more of a what or how, but it's what makes sense to me at the moment.
