2018 MLI: Mid-Level Institute

Established in 2015, the Mid-Level Institute (MLI) is a two-day professional development seminar featuring a range of activities for professionals who are currently in mid-level roles and are considering a move to the next level and/or searching for opportunities to improve their skills in their current positions.

Please plan on arriving at Union Street Center (445 N. Union St, Bloomington, IN 47406) between 12:00pm and 12:45pm on Sunday, June 3.  Lunch is not provided on Sunday, so please plan time to get lunch before MLI begins at 1:00pm.

While checking in, you may park along Union Street, in 2 hour city park spaces. At check in, you will receive a parking pass and directions to a nearby parking lot.  



Union Street Center Apartments will be used for MLI and participants will have one of four single rooms and share two in-unit bathrooms.  Each room contains extra long twin beds (80 in), desks, dressers, and closet space. The building is air conditioned.

All gender housing options are available.  If you would like to request a roommate, please let us know when you register.  We will do our best to accommodate these requests.

Linens and pillows are provided, but we recommend you bring your own blanket to be more comfortable.

Housing is provided for the night of Sunday, June 3 (as part of your registration).  There is an additional charge of $59.62 if you need to stay an additional night (Saturday, June 2 and/or Monday, June 4).  You will be able to add additional nights when you register for MLI.

Meals provided will include Sunday dinner, Monday breakfast, and Monday lunch.  Please specify any dietary needs when you register.

Meals are included for participants and faculty -- dinner Sunday night, and breakfast and lunch on Monday.

If you have a roommate preference, please specify that during the registration process. We will do our best to honor those requests.



MLI will begin at 1:00pm on Sunday, June 3.  A tentative schedule is below.

Credit card or check payments accepted. The deadline to register for MLI is Friday, May 11, 2018.
