February 10, 2012 - Understanding Residents with Autism

Have you ever wondered what the residence hall environment is like for a student with Autism or Asperger’s Syndrome? The population of non-neurotypical students on college campuses is increasing rapidly, and general knowledge can go a long way towards successfully supporting these students. Join us for a webinar where we will define Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), explore some of the sensory and social and communication deficits experienced by individuals with ASD, and identify strategies to best support these students in the residence halls and across campus.
