"Synergistic Supervision, Job Satisfaction, and Intention to Turnover of New Professionals in Student Affairs"

The Journal of College Student Development published a research article in the 2006 July/August edition discussing the common reasons for attrition of new professionals in the field of student affairs. The author's, Ashley Hull, research discusses the impact job dissatisfaction has on the retention of new professional. Most notably mentioned is the importance of providing new professionals a quality supervisory relationship.
