Parking

Parking is free at each of the conference hotels.
On-site parking at the conference venue is free for all GLACUHO participants in the parking structure attached the Riverfront Banquet Center.

Registration Rates

Type Rate Deadline to Register (by 5:00pm Eastern Time)
Regular Registration $190 Register by 5:00pm on Thursday, October 22.
Late Registration $240 Register by 5:00pm on Thursday, October 29.
On-Site Registration $290 No online registrations will be accepted after October 29, 2015. Register on-site.

In order to qualify for the regular registration rate, check payments must be postmarked by Friday, October 23. Online registration closes on Thursday, October 29, and all attendees wishing to register after that date will need to register on site.

Requests for Accessibility Accommodations

Should you need any special requests for accessibility accommodations during your experience at the conference, please contact Katie Bosio (2015@glacuho.org) by October 22, 2015.

Conference Highlights

Monday Night on the Town

Sponsored by Adirondack Solutions

The conference host committee is hosting Monday Night on the Town right in downtown Flint! Local restaurants and bars will be open to all attendees for free food and cash bar. Visit one location or hit them all up to see what Flint nightlife has to offer! Join us for an evening filled with professional connections, friends, and a good time. 

Monday Night on the Town is automatically included with every conference registration! It is not necessary to opt-in or sign up. 

Guest tickets for non-conference participants may be purchased, if desired, during the registration process.

Lunch and Learn - sold out

The Student Learning Committee is excited to offer a free Lunch and Learn opportunity to GLACUHO conference attendees! We will present a case study regarding the intersectionality of conduct and spirituality, and the decisions hearing officers make for discussion over lunch on Tuesday, November 10 from 12:30pm - 1:30pm!

Participation is free but space is limited. Advance registration is required during the conference registration process, and tickets will be available until all spots are taken.‚Äč all spaces have been taken at this time.

Fourth Annual Silent Auction

We are excited to announce the fourth annual Silent Auction at the Annual Conference to benefit the ACUHO-I Foundation. The auction will take place on Monday and Tuesday during the conference. All attendees are invited to visit the Silent Auction space to view the items and to place bids.

We are currently seeking donations to be entered into the Silent Auction. Individuals, institutions, and exhibitors may choose to donate items and services. Donations are not limited to commercially available items; we welcome your creativity and works of art!  If you would like to donate an item for the Silent Auction, please click here for more information and to register your donated item(s).

Case Study Competition

The Contemporary Issues Committee will be hosting the annual Case Study Competition on Monday, November 9 between 3pm and 5:30pm. Participants will sign up for a specific time along with a partner. For more information, and to sign up, visit the Case Study Competition page. The deadline to register is Thursday, November 5.

GLACUHO Gives Back - Service Project

The Inclusion and Equity Committee will again be sponsoring a service project activity at the conference. More information will be posted here when plans are finalized.

Facilities Tour at Kettering University - SOLD OUT

The Facilities & Operations Committee is pleased to offer the annual facilities tour at this year's conference. This year we will tour two facilities: Thompson Hall at Kettering University and Riverfront Residence Hall, which serves several local universities, and lunch is included. The tour will begin at 10:00am and conclude by 1:00pm. A discussion with representatives from each residential facility will occur after the tours during the lunch portion of this program. Participants will meet in the lobby of the Riverfront Residence Hall to pick up the shuttle that will take us on the tour.

Participation is free but space is limited to 40 participants. Advance registration is required during the conference registration process, and tickets will be available until all spots are taken. 

Scholarship Opportunities

GLACUHO First Time Attendee Scholarship

We are pleased to offer four scholarships for first time conference attendees, one per state for Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. The scholarship will cover the cost of a full, on-time registration for the conference.

The deadline for applications was Friday, September 18. (Applicants will be notified of their status by October 2.)

GLACUHO New School / School Re-Involvement Scholarship

GLACUHO offers New School Involvement Scholarships to enable the attendance of one staff member from a school in each state that has not been engaged in GLACUHO during the last three years. The scholarship will cover the cost of a full, on-time registration for the conference.
